As you know on Wednesday we will be leaving our school as St Ben's students. This will be sad because me personnel this was the best year group I've seen and I am proud to be apart of it. As a l; little kid I would wonder why the big kids were happy and confident, I know know because leaving would effect them greatly and that they were overly dramatic (pre puberty). keep in touch and never forget your past when darkness creeps over you.

My passion project

As you might of heard, we (year 7&8s) have to pick something that we want to study or do, It could be any thing (like I am studying as a astronaut, just got me masters yeah right) they turned me down though......

The Hobbit

YES! the hobbit is out in December! it is going to be awesome! I have read the books and it is going to be so cool. I would suggest going to it even if you haven't  seen the lord of the rings because it is set before it....

It is a story about a Hobbit whose house gets raided by a group of dwarfs and a great wizard who make a proposition of a dangerous quest to slay a dragon who protects mounds of tresaser. And so they set out on a journey that includes Dwarfs, Elf's, Goblins and.....BEER!

The Blues Brothers

The day dawned bright and fine on Saturday morning, except that part of are tree were completely obliterated by the wind. But as it so happens that part of the day did not matter that much because it was the movie "The Blues Brothers" that caught my attention. It is a story of two brother that need $5000 to pay taxes of their former orphanage. But one of them has just came from a jail, and though the power of music, a lot of luck, violence and beer to keep them hydrated they set out to find their former band members, of which they owe a lot of money. But they can't fail because they are on a mission from God.
<warning, M movie> ( But it was approved by the catholic church)

You may have noticed that the two men in black could mildly relate to Rob and Bob. I like this movie because of it's overall stupidity and because of it's music related themes.

Ah it's over. and with all of the year 7 and 8 the only part that I saw that wen bad was actually when i hit Thomas with my cane. Great sycronisation and awesome dances

The joy of paintball

Have you ever shot anyone, no , yes!?!, oh, no. well good because other wise i would report you. Any way paintball bullets are completely different from normal bullets because they are for a start hurt less ( but still a lot!) and they are full of  paint or cooking oil. but the noise and the trill are huge.

Production.....AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The production is in two weeks and there is still so much work needed. (What! the productions in two weeks!) Is what some people including me are thinking. Having been some days in preparation  (yeah, some days) a splendid time is guaranteed for all. But still the Bolgers assure the public their production will be second to none, And so do I. But having said that I do need to work with Thomas a bit in "Being for the benefit of Mr Kite" were we have to simultaneously kick are walking sticks at the same time.

What do you have to work on in the production? (that will be second to none)

olympics

One of the things that i am enjoying in they Olympics is handball, because throwing and catching is combined with a a sporting touch. it is a multi gender game with 7 players including a goal keeper. The game consits of 2 30 Minuit half's. The goalie on that the teams defencive side is the only one aloud in the zone (you are allowed to jump our fall over). When running each three steps you take you must bounce the ball once.

CHERUB

One of are current tasks is to say on our Blog what one of our current obsession is, so I say that one of my current infection to my mind is reading the cherub series. there just so hard to put down! and to put down. But I would also say that the Olympics are a factor in why I am losing sleep.

An interview with Angus

Notorious blog spot user Angus Bartlett, averaging 1 view a day his blog is more successful than than bill gates secret blog. A interviewer from gobble co asked about his role in the production.

"what is your role in the production?" Edward the interviewer asked,
"well Edward..." started Angus
"please call me Ed,"
"sorry, well I have two roles in the production, one of them is I am a villain in the dance "I need a hero" were a get to fight a bunch of knights in a black suit." said Angus
"interesting, interesting," said Ed in a unconvincing way that makes it sound interesting only That it isn't but that we need some stinking gossip for the people.
"my other role is that I am a freaky twin in the dance "for the benefit of Mr Kite" so that will be interesting,"
"What do you have to do to be successful in this role?" Ed asked.
"don't stuff up," answered Angus.
"how will you manage your time so that you can keep up with your tasks?"
"work hard," said Angus.
well there you have it. A boring article that might satisfy you for a short amount of time but you really hate it after a while.

please note that after the interview Ed  the interviewer fired me because of my criticism

SHCOOLS OUT....and back again

My holidays started right after we had are game of sport and had to drive four hours to Taumarunui were we would be dropped of without our parents. for the next seven days we mostly did nothing much and read. Then when we got back we did pretty much the same thing except we caught up with our old Friends, went go-carting and played sport.

What we are doing for topic

For topic we are doing Olympic stuff and some research, here it is .....................

 Each ring on this symbol represents a main part of the world, Blue for Europe, Black for Africa, red is for all of the Americas, yellow is for Asia and green is for Australasia. The connections between the rings means that we are all linked together in the time of sport and we put away are differences for this time. And all the worlds’ colours have one of the colours on their flag

What I have learned

This week I learnt that you can get more work than you expect and that some times you have to change the times that you do the work.

Hobbies

Some of my favourite things to do include playing cricket on Saturdays, playing goalie in soccer (especially when people smash soccer balls really fast at me). I also like to read in the sun in the weekends (but considering that we live in wellington it is also good reading anywere).

cross country again!

Well to most peoples hopes off the cross country being cancelled there hopes were put to rest by the clear blue Sky's (of which we are lacking today). But MORE training is required for those who got into the northern zones, which is next Thursday.

cross country

Today was supposed to be the day off the cross country, but due to the weather it was postponed to next Tuesday. But now it is turning out to be a good day (this means more practise that all children love). The course involves off two laps off Nanvill park, up the track on the hill, down the footpath, round the AstroTurf, up the stairs, round the cricket nets and sprint to the rugby post of the Nanvill building side.

holidays

To start my Holidays off me, my mum, Thomas and my dad drived to Otaki. the first second we steped foot there we were bombed by Miskito and we left with about 30 bites each. After four days off immense scratching and Kayaking on the deep freezing river (I would know because I fell in) a strange thing happened, we all fell sick! this made us postpone our trip to our grand parents. when we got back we spent a week getting better and then are parents dropped me and Thomas at our grand parents for a week. on one off the days we were there we got to watch cars being compacted! I got to break a window with a hammer!
And then, all to soon we were back in school.

My goals have been mostly completed, but having said that my goals are to easy and unrecordable. But I have completed my goal off geting 30 runs not out. For my goal off geting all my maths questions right that has not been  acheived.
